"Perfect Music" (the Hyde Park "Ecstasy" mix) From the new Poi dog pondering album "7" Directed, shot and edited by Marco Giovanni Ferrari
Shot
entirely on location in Hyde Park Chicago in the fall of 2007, using a car
battery stuffed in the bike's basket to power the light suit.
The
song "Perfect Music" originally came to Frank Orral while riding
his bike around Hyde Park, so Marco chose to base the video there, which is also his home village. It's a surrealistic
dream, filled with characters from PDP's musical imagination. The video features band members and a recently installed public sculpture by Virginio
Ferrari, entitled "Ecstasy", acting as characters and metaphors in a surreal bicycle journey through nature
and the city, between the past and the future. Featured in the video are PDP's Max Crawford
(as the "Trash Can Conquistador"), Ron "Admiral" Hall (as
the "King of Hyde Park"), Susan
Voelz (as the Guiding Angel), "Ursula"
the robot, Ted Cho (as "Death; the Domino playing Bull"), the "Electric Eagle Dancer"
and "cruising Vagabond" Frank
Orrall. Enjoy! Production Assistance and thank you to: Chaka Travis and "Juicy" Carlito
