Dave Max Crawford just returned from Japan where he Conducted the two dozen strong Music Art Romantic Orchestra for Mono's largest headlining show in Japan thus far.   Mono are an amazing instrumental / orchestral rock band from Japan. Susan Voelz has done quite a bit of arranging strings for them (as well as playing on their records w/ Alison Chesley and Inger Carle). Susan brought Max in to Conduct the last recording session they had here in Chicago, and  Mono loved Max's Conducting style (and his way), so much that they brought him to Japan to conduct for a ground breaking concert!
Hopefully we can get Max to add some text / stories from his trip for the site.
(here are some photos - I'm not sure who the Photographer is...)
